Job Description
Shop SXC is a women’s fashion boutique with a distinct point of view and a loyal customer base. We’re looking for an experienced, creative, and self-directed Visual Merchandiser who can understand our vision and bring it to life on the sales floor.
What You’ll Do
- Take creative direction from the owner and translate it into floor sets, window displays, focal points, and product stories
- Style and dress mannequins and create outfits that reflect the Shop SXC aesthetic
- Refresh the sales floor by rotating product, adjusting fixtures, and refining layouts as inventory changes
- Merchandise new arrivals and key product with both visual impact and sell-through in mind
- Identify areas of the floor that need attention and make adjustments proactively
- Work independently and confidently without needing detailed step-by-step direction
- Maintain a consistent visual identity and merchandising standard across our stores
- Partner with the sales team to communicate visual standards and help maintain the floor between resets
What We’re Looking
- For- 2 years of visual merchandising experience, preferably in women’s fashion or specialty retail
- A strong eye for color, proportion, styling, trend, and product placement
- Someone creative who also understands the commercial side of merchandising
- Self-directed, proactive, and comfortable making visual decisions independently
- Able to take verbal creative direction and confidently run with it
- Reliable, detail-oriented, organized, and easy to collaborate with
- Comfortable being on your feet and handling light setup work including hanging, steaming, moving fixtures, and styling

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
