Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our facility and manufacturing space. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment that supports our production goals and workplace safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of facilities equipment including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and mechanical components
- Conduct maintenance on building interior elements such as carpentry, painting, and general repairs to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Utilize hand tools, schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately and efficiently
- Maintain plumbing systems through repairs, leak detection, and system upgrades to ensure proper water flow and sanitation standards
- Support HVAC system repair and maintenance to sustain optimal climate control within the facility
- Lead or assist with maintenance painting projects and building interior upkeep as needed
- Follow safety protocols while performing all maintenance tasks and document work performed for compliance
Requirements
- Proven experience with facilities maintenance including basic carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC repair, welding, and mechanical troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of schematics, electrical equipment repair, and facilities equipment maintenance practices
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively; experience with maintenance painting is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with team members and vendors
- Experience working with Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) procedures in a manufacturing or industrial setting

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
