Shopsense has developed an AI powered retail media platform that unlocks commerce and advertising for TV broadcasters and streaming publishers. Content inspires shopping journeys (e.g. Yellowstone has driven the rise in cowboy fashion) but there’s too much friction for viewers who want to shop the products they see from their favorite content. Broadcasters use our mobile second-screen shopping experience to make it easy for viewers to move down the funnel without disrupting their favorite movies, shows and live sports.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Head of Publisher Partnerships to represent Shopsense AI across the publisher community - you will build and grow business across key publisher partners and prospects. The head of our publisher partnerships is responsible for contributing to and executing against a defined GTM strategy by signing and onboarding new partners, as well as scaling existing partners. You will drive our most strategic publisher partnerships and will work across all levels, including executive stakeholders, across relevant orgs such as marketing, advertising, content, consumer product, etc. This role requires an owner mindset - to be successful, this person must be comfortable navigating ambiguity, operating autonomously, and have a “builder” mentality.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, pitch, onboard, and own Shopsense relationship with key publisher partners. You must be skilled in traversing across the organization at various levels.
- Educate and evangelize the Shopsense commerce technology with publishers.
- Take the lead in onboarding new publishers and scaling existing publishers.
- Responsible for the long-term success of our publisher partners - work closely with them to drive execution against mutually aligned on vision.
- Participate in agency and advertiser development.
- Obsess over our customers, their problems, and helping them.
- Collaborate with our operations, product, and engineering teams to ensure our platform and solutions align with our publisher program needs.
- Develop a deep understanding of the Shopsense product, value proposition, and how it fits within the TV commerce and retail media landscapes.
- Responsible for executing the defined strategy.
- Exhibit high judgment despite high ambiguity.
Required Qualifications
- Live in or near NY, NY - you will be meeting with NY based partners regularly
- Past experience includes TV broadcast and/or retail media
- Past experience includes Business Development as well as operations like Account Management, Program Management, etc
- Has 5 years of relevant experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at the executive level
- Strong business development skills with the ability to influence with data
- Ability to build strong external and internal relationships
- Experience collaborating across legal, product, operations, etc
- Ability to quickly grasp new products, technologies, and concepts in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of exceeding goals and revenue expectations
- High “marathon pace” comfortable grinding for sustained periods of time
