Position Summary
The Spa Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the Spa and Fitness Center while providing superior guest service in an environment of relaxation and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Provide genuine customer service to guests and clients by explaining JW Marriot Spa facilities
- Strip dirty linen, which may require lifting Spa beds weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to all guest requests
- Visually inspect Spa rooms for cleanliness and appearance
- Responsible for performing opening and closing duties
- Report suspicious persons, activities and hazardous conditions to the Security Department
- Maintain locker rooms, clean and stocked with all amenities, remove soiled linen and trash
- Maintain the Fitness Room cleanliness and ensure it is always stocked with all amenities, remove soiled linen and trash
- Provide a clean and organized atmosphere in the Spa and adjacent facilities
Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Computer skills and ability to learn spa booking program
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with guest, management, and staff
- Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions
Ability to learn and abide by luxury standards put in place to provide the highest level of service to our guests
Education:
- High School education or equivalent
