Join The Seagate Golf Club as a Golf Shop Attendant and become part of a team dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience for our members and guests. This role is ideal for someone who is service-oriented, professional, and passionate about the game of golf and luxury hospitality.
As a key member of the Golf Operations team, the Golf Shop Attendant supports the daily operations of the Golf Shop while creating a welcoming and seamless experience for all patrons. Responsibilities include assisting with tee times, merchandise sales, member services, and maintaining the overall presentation and organization of the Golf Shop.
What You Do:
- Greet and welcome members and guests in a warm, professional manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and assist with tee times, club information, and general inquiries.
- Coordinate tee time reservations and efficiently manage player check-in procedures.
- Process member and guest charges accurately while following established procedures.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, displaying, and selling Golf Shop merchandise.
- Maintain attractive and organized merchandise displays, highlighting seasonal and featured items.
- Handle customer special orders and ensure timely follow-up and fulfillment.
- Support Golf Shop promotions, events, and monthly inventory activities.
- Collaborate with the Golf Professional team to enhance the member and guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout the Golf Shop.
- Uphold a polished and professional appearance while representing The Seagate Golf Club.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Friendly, outgoing, and service-focused personality with a passion for hospitality.
- Knowledge of the game of golf and golf course operations preferred.
- Previous retail or golf shop experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage professionally with members and guests.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills required for point-of-sale systems and inventory management.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to grooming and uniform standards.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 10 lbs. and occasionally up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and extended hours as business levels require.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions including bending, reaching, and computer entry.
