Description
At Shoppers World, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable retail porter to join our team. As a Retail Porter, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean and organized store environment, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Keep the store clean and presentable at all times by sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- Empty trash cans and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
- Maintain an organized and clutterfree stockroom.
- Assist customers with carrying their purchases to their vehicles.
- Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and return them to the designated area.
- Keep shelves and displays wellstocked and neatly arranged.
- Perform regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels
- Utilize pointofsales (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent time management skills
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite
