REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

The Marketing Associate reports directly to the Director of Marketing – Shop-Vac USA and works closely with cross-functional teams in product management, creative, and sales to drive brand engagement and support new product launches.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As the Marketing Associate, you will support the continued evolution of the Shop-Vac brand by helping plan and execute marketing initiatives that strengthen brand identity, grow social reach, and drive product awareness. This role focuses on social media management, new product development (NPD) support, and organic growth initiatives that connect Shop-Vac’s heritage with its modern innovation story.

You will be a hands-on contributor—comfortable creating content, analyzing performance, collaborating with internal teams, and assisting with product launches that keep Shop-Vac top of mind with both consumers and professional users.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media & Digital Marketing

• Execute social media strategy and manage daily posting across Shop-Vac’s channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok).
• Create and curate high-quality photo and video content highlighting new products, brand heritage, and real-world applications.
• Monitor engagement, respond to community interactions, and identify growth opportunities through organic storytelling.
• Track KPIs and analytics, reporting trends and recommending optimizations to improve reach and engagement.

New Product Development (NPD) & Launch Support

• Collaborate with product management and design teams to support go-to-market plans for new products.
• Assist in preparing marketing briefs, packaging content, and sales materials for retail and e-commerce channels.
• Coordinate launch schedules, photography, and digital asset creation.
• Ensure product messaging aligns with overall brand positioning and visual identity.

Brand & Organic Growth

• Support organic SEO through website and blog content focused on innovation, user tips, and product education.
• Assist in the execution of influencer and partnership programs that extend Shop-Vac’s reach.
• Help maintain brand consistency across packaging, collateral, and social media content.
• Participate in creative brainstorming, trend tracking, and competitor research to identify new marketing opportunities.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• 2–4 years of experience in marketing, brand management, or digital communications; consumer-product background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, content scheduling tools, and performance metrics.
• Excellent written and visual communication skills; ability to adapt tone to brand voice.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business-related field required.
