Role Overview:
As a DevOps Engineer Intern at Shop ONline New York, you will play a vital
role in automating, optimizing, and securing our development operations. This is a hands-on,
highly collaborative role where your experience will directly contribute to the stability and
scalability of our infrastructure. You will work alongside seasoned developers, testers, and
product owners to ensure a seamless deployment process as we transition into the testing
phase.

Key Responsibilities:
● Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient code
integration and deployment.
● Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and management using tools like
Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
● Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and provide solutions to ensure
optimal uptime and performance.
● Collaborate with development teams to streamline the deployment process and
troubleshoot issues in real-time.
● Implement robust security practices across our infrastructure to safeguard our systems
and data.
● Participate in the planning and execution of load testing, ensuring our systems can
handle high traffic volumes.
● Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing best practices and
fostering a culture of continuous improvement.


Qualifications:
● Extensive experience in DevOps, with a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud
services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and automation tools.
● Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
● Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like
Kubernetes.
● Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
Stack).
● Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or
CloudFormation.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced
environment.
● A proactive, self-starter attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
● Previous experience in a DevOps role is essential.
