- Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets
- Oversee daily store operations such as cash handling, POS system management, and shift management to ensure smooth workflow
- Conduct employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and onboarding processes to build a skilled and engaged team
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and payroll records while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Implement inventory management practices to minimize waste, prevent shrinkage, and optimize stock levels
- Develop promotional displays and merchandising plans that attract customers and enhance product visibility
Requirements
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments, preferably within the retail industry sales team management sector
- Strong supervisory skills with demonstrated experience in supervising staff, managing schedules, and leading teams effectively
- Excellent communication skills including managerial communication, phone etiquette, and organizational abilities
- Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills for retail math calculations
- Ability to perform multitasking efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Experience with recruiting, training & development, budgeting, purchasing, and operational management is highly desirable
