What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at Shoot360 Naperville?
We're opening a position for Assistant Manager at Shoot360 in Naperville to help run Social Media and Communications! Our managers lead and push a fun and educational environment for the community and all patrons of the facility. Through basketball we are able to teach, connect, and grow with players of all skill levels and experience.
Core Role & Responsibilities
- Facility Management: Assist the manager in driving the overall success, programming, and day-to-day operations of the gym.
- Acting Leadership: Step in as the acting facility manager when the general manager is absent or as delegated.
- Member & Athlete Experience: Help athletes and members navigate and understand interactive basketball analytics and training tech (such as shooting machines and proprietary tracking systems).
- Staff & Floor Support: Coordinate floor coaches, support staff, and youth training sessions or camps.
- Operations & Growth: Assist with customer service, facility organization, promoting membership and camp events, social media.
General Qualifications
- Background: Strong background or deep passion for basketball, sports facility operations, or fitness management.
- Leadership Skills: Experience supervising staff, organizing daily schedules, and handling customer interactions.
- Tech-Savviness: Comfort operating digital fitness and basketball skill-tracking systems. [1, 2, 3]
Pay: $19.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
