Overview
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Coaches to join Shoot 360 locations in Lynnwood, Kirkland, Renton and Kent. Shoot 360 Coaches help athletes of all ages develop and improve their basketball skills through floor coaching. Additionally, they help our members understand Shoot 360’s technology and how members can continue to grow their game by using this technology. Shoot 360 coaches are curious about how software and machines work; this helps them explain Shoot 360 to members and parents during gym tours. Shoot 360 coaches are adaptable to new ways of doing old things; incorporating technology in basketball helps athletes get better faster is the core tenant of Shoot 360. Finally, they should excel at customer relationship management. Taking inbound and making outbound phone calls, and operating gym software is an important requirement of the job.

Duties
Coaching & Athlete Development
- Lead engaging, high-energy floor coaching sessions for athletes of all ages and skill levels, from youth beginners to advanced high school players
- Instruct members on proper shooting mechanics, ball handling, passing, and footwork using Shoot 360's interactive training stations
- Design and adapt workouts to each athlete's skill level, goals, and development plan
- Track member progress and provide constructive, motivating feedback that keeps athletes coming back
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive training environment that reflects Shoot 360's culture of growth and perseverance
Technology Integration
- Master Shoot 360's shooting machines, interactive skill courts, and performance-tracking software to guide members through the full training experience
- Teach members and parents how to read their performance data (shot arc, depth, make percentage, leaderboards) and use it to set goals
- Troubleshoot basic equipment and software issues on the gym floor to keep sessions running smoothly
- Stay curious about how the technology works and communicate it in simple, athlete-friendly terms
- Champion the Shoot 360 philosophy: technology plus coaching helps athletes get better, faster
Sales, Tours & Member Experience
- Understand a family and an athlete’s objectives for visiting the gym; then customize your engagement to cater to those requirements
- Conduct gym tours for prospective members and parents, clearly explaining the Shoot 360 training model, technology, and membership options
- Answer inbound calls and make outbound follow-up calls to leads, trial participants, and current members
- Operate gym management software for scheduling, member check-ins, account updates, and lead tracking
- Build strong relationships with members and families, serving as a consistent, trusted point of contact
- Support member retention through proactive communication, session reminders, and celebrating athlete milestones
- Assist with front-desk operations, facility upkeep, and event support (camps, combines, leagues) as needed
Qualifications
- Basketball playing or coaching experience preferred (high school level or above a plus)
- Comfort with technology and a genuine curiosity for how software and machines work
- Strong communication skills with both kids and parents
- Customer service, sales, or front-desk experience a plus
- Available evenings, weekends and mornings at times (for camps and clinics)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

- Demonstrating Basketball Movements: Jogging, running, jumping, and bending
- Moving Automatic Rebounding Machine (A.R.M.)
- Lowering and lifting the lever
- Pushing the A.R.M. out and in place
- May need to climb/stand on a ladder to help with any necessary equipment repairs
