Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Shop Helper to assist in the daily operations of our precision manufacturing machine shop. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, load and unload production machines
- Deburr, clean, and package finished parts
- Load/unload raw materials and finished products
- Perform basic machine maintenance and fluid checks
- Handle shipping and receiving as needed
- Follow safety protocols
- Other general labor or support tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be 18 years old
- Prior experience in a machine shop or industrial setting a plus
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measurement equipment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Forklift experience
