What are the responsibilities and job description for the Training Coordinator position at Shook, Hardy and Bacon?
Provides administrative and logistical support, contributing to the efficient operation of the Learning & Development Department (L&D) team by coordinating and supporting L&D activities and documentation.
Maintain and coordinate firm training content by scheduling all activities, loading new resources to the Shook Learning Center (learning management system) and maintaining a calendar and assignment list for all upcoming activities.
Schedule and communicate new hire training with HR, L&D and the hiring department.
Keep abreast of new technologies and applications. Administer the Shook Learning Center with responsibilities including loading new training, scheduling classes and programming learning plans.
Track and report any facility or equipment issues in the training rooms and coordinate repairs and equipment upgrades with the IT and Facilities teams.
Participate in on-going training sessions to familiarize himself/herself with Shook applications, systems and processes. Demonstrate technical proficiency in the tools used by Learning and Development.
Prepare reports and statistics for L&D programs and events as requested.
This positioin supports the Professional Development Committee and CLE filing process.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
