Job Summary
We’re seeking a Landscape Design Assistant to support our design and installation teams. This position includes both office and field work (field work approximately 25%), providing a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while developing design skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and revising residential and commercial landscape designs
- Prepare plant lists, materials, and cost estimates
- Visit job sites to take measurements, photos, and notes
- Occasionally assist crews in the field to ensure design intent and gain practical experience
- Support client presentations and maintain organized design files
- Research plants, materials, and installation practices
Qualifications
- Education or experience in landscape design, horticulture, or a related field
- Familiarity with Google Suite and Dynascape or SketchUp (or similar) preferred
- Knowledge of Pacific Northwest plants and materials
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to juggle competing priorities
- Ability to balance design work and outdoor tasks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
