We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Personal Lines Account Executive to join our team.
Job Summary
The Personal Lines Account Executive will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of personal insurance accounts. This role involves building strong relationships with clients, assessing their insurance needs, and providing tailored solutions to ensure they have the appropriate coverage. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal lines insurance, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of personal lines insurance accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their individual insurance needs and providing expert advice.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' insurance requirements and recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals, quotes, and policy renewals to clients.
- Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to negotiate terms and secure the best coverage options for clients.
- Work with the service team to handle client inquiries, policy changes, and claims assistance in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice to clients.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional insurance products and services to existing clients.
- Participate in networking events and community activities to promote the company and generate new business leads.
Qualifications
- Proven prior experience in personal lines insurance, with a strong understanding of insurance products and services is desired but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid Pennsylvania insurance license is required within 90 days of employment. We will help you obtain this if you don’t already have it.
