What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sushi Chef position at Shogun Japanese Steakhouse?
Responsibilities:
- Prepare sushi rolls and other Japanese dishes according to recipes and customer preferences
- Ensure the quality and presentation of all sushi items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with catering events as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of various sushi types and techniques
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
