Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing a positive first impression
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Answer phone inquiries promptly, providing accurate information about wait times and availability
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and guest flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting areas
- Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their dining experience
- Support guest relations by addressing concerns courteously and professionally, ensuring satisfaction
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a host or hostess in food service or restaurant settings preferred
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations best practices
- Previous experience in serving, guest services, or restaurant operations is beneficial
