Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals eager to grow within the industry.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a positive first impression
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Answer phone inquiries with proper phone etiquette and assist with reservation bookings or guest questions
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand and waiting area
- Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth flow of guests and timely seating
- Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their dining experience
- Monitor waiting lists and communicate wait times accurately to guests
- Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously
- Uphold hospitality standards by providing excellent guest services throughout their visit
Requirements
- Previous host/host experience or background in food service preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in hotel or guest services is advantageous
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Positive attitude, friendly personality, and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
