Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools to uphold health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, including counters, sinks, and floors, ensuring a hygienic workspace at all times.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in their daily operations.
- Support catering and banquet events by providing timely dishwashing services to meet event schedules.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling procedures to keep the kitchen organized and environmentally responsible.
- Follow proper food handling protocols and safety procedures to prevent contamination or accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen flow during busy service hours.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant, hotel, catering service, or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are equally valued.
- Familiarity with basic cleaning techniques and food safety standards is advantageous.
- Experience with food handling or culinary environments such as banquet or hospitality settings enhances your ability to excel in this role.
