Duties
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions accurately
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision and integrity
- Assist customers with product questions, product demos, and upselling opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and welcoming
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Support inventory management through merchandising tasks
- Uphold phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone
- Assist in supervising team members when needed
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic math skills for cashiering tasks
- Ability to upsell products effectively to enhance sales opportunities
- Experience with merchandising and product demos preferred
- Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customers
