Overview
We are a premier boutique children’s shoe store seeking a friendly and dedicated Retail Shoe Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a warm, family-friendly environment and has a passion for providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with shoe fitting, offering personalized service, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for families.
Previous sales floor experience is required.
Training will be provided to the right individual. This position offers an opportunity to develop into a full-time role.
Duties
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate footwear by providing expert shoe fitting and sizing guidance
- Offer personalized recommendations based on customer needs and preferences
- Ensure the sales floor is organized, clean, and well-stocked at all times
- Provide excellent communication and customer service to foster repeat business
- Support team members in daily store operations and contribute to a positive team environment
- Work Saturdays and Sundays as part of the regular schedule
Experience
- Minimum of one year of sales floor experience is required
- Previous experience in shoe sales or fitting is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and customer focus
