Responsibilities

- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately.
- Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to ensure products are displayed attractively and are readily available.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on features and benefits.
- Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring all products are well-stocked and presented.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy while adhering to cash handling policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Supervise junior staff when necessary, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and understanding retail math concepts.
- Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures is essential.
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
