Role Description The Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Round Rock, TX, responsible for leading all daily store operations. This role oversees the sales floor, ensuring an engaging customer experience, effective merchandising, and a visually appealing, well-organized store. The Store Manager leads, trains, and motivates the store team, sets clear performance expectations, and provides ongoing coaching and feedback. Responsibilities include managing schedules, monitoring sales goals, controlling inventory, and implementing retail loss prevention practices. The Store Manager also handles keyholder duties, addresses escalated customer concerns, ensures company policies are followed, and supports a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a focus on creating a positive in-store experience.
- Effective Communication skills to clearly guide team members, resolve customer concerns, and collaborate with leadership.
- Proven Store Management experience in a retail environment, including staff supervision, scheduling, and daily operations.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including inventory control, shrink reduction, and compliance with company procedures.
- Experience meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work on-site, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as required by retail operations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate a diverse team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in business, retail management, or a related field is a plus.
- Prior experience in footwear, apparel, or specialty retail and familiarity with POS systems is preferred.
