Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products related to lawn care, gardening, horticulture, and floral design.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on landscape maintenance tools, plants, and seasonal merchandise.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling and transactions while ensuring excellent customer service.
- Stock shelves efficiently, organize displays, and merchandise products to maximize sales potential.
- Handle cashiering duties including processing payments, issuing receipts, and managing retail math calculations.
- Maintain organized inventory levels through stocking and inventory management practices.
- Communicate product features and benefits clearly to customers in multiple languages if applicable.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture or floral design is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math enhances your effectiveness in this role.
