Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of store operations, including sales, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Oversee employee orientation programs and conduct ongoing training & development initiatives.
- Manage payroll, cash handling, bookkeeping, and budgeting processes with accuracy and integrity.
- Supervise inventory management, pricing, stock replenishment, and shrink control to maximize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and store procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Monitor sales performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee shift management, cashiering duties, and store opening/closing procedures efficiently.
- Foster a team-oriented environment through leadership in supervising staff and promoting excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong skills in employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development.
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, POS systems, merchandising, pricing strategies.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while managing time effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills coupled with phone etiquette for customer interactions.
- Leadership qualities that inspire teams; assistant manager or supervisory experience is preferred.
