The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently achieved. This role leads, motivates, and manages production teams, coordinates workflow, and works closely with quality, maintenance, and planning departments to optimize efficiency and resolve operational issues. The Production Supervisor plays a key role in driving continuous improvement, enforcing compliance with company policies, and fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Duties:
- Ensuring that associates work safely, perform acceptable quality and quantity of work, and continually make efforts to improve the manufacturing process while maintaining cost targets through planning, leading/supervision and control of the manufacturing processes
- Maintaining efficient, clean and orderly operation of the assigned manufacturing area in accordance with established goals and objectives.
- Complying with and enforcing all policies/procedures and applicable state and federal employment laws.
- Troubleshooting and improving various manufacturing related problems and communicating shift/machine problems with other shifts.
- Ensuring that all manufacturing standards and methods are followed by employees and that standards and methods are reviewed and up to date.
- Ensuring that all production data is reported properly and timely to appropriate staff.
- Working on assigned continuous improvement projects and cost reduction activities.
- Training and Development of line leads.
- Checking, entering and approving information in Payroll system; compiling and reviewing production reports.
- Tracks and reports relevant metrics
- Manages work orders and relevant completion dates once received on the production floor
- Temporarily performs Lead functions when attendance affects production builds
- Acts as a liaison between management and operators and conveys customer expectations
- Perform OTJ Training and complete records for all new/transferred employees
- Assists with Inventory or labeling as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to deal with a variety of changing situations under stress.
- Computer literacy as applied to scheduling and data management - particularly Microsoft Excel.

- Availability to work all shifts.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Thorough understanding of operations policies and practices.
- Excel/ERP/Hand Scanner
- Computer Skills (Basic Outlook, Word, and Excel knowledge) GP a plus.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Minimum 2-3 years in a Production leadership role.
- Associate’s degree preferred but not required.
- Must be able to stand, walk, push, bend and/or squat for 10 hours in a day.
- Must be able to lift up to 25-50 Ibs at a time.
- Regularly perform repetitive tasks
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to work in an office environment, including looking at screens for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing facility environment.
