Job Summary
We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking Back-of-House Steward to join our kitchen team. This role is key to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment that supports smooth daily operations and upholds our high standards of safety and sanitation.
Key Responsibilities
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashers or by hand
Clean and sanitize food prep areas, floors, and storage spaces
Organize and restock kitchen tools, dishes, and equipment in designated areas
Assist with basic food preparation as needed (e.g., cutting vegetables, blending soups)
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols at all times
Support kitchen staff by maintaining readiness for service and quick cleanup after shifts
Skills & Qualifications
Strong physical stamina; able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50–75 lbs
High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Team-oriented attitude with solid communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent; prior kitchen or stewarding experience preferred
