Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Experienced Freight Broker located in Wheaton, IL. The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with carriers and customers, negotiating rates, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery. Maintaining communication with all stakeholders, resolving issues as they arise, and leveraging industry expertise to optimize transportation processes are key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Freight Brokerage, Carrier Relationship Management, and Load Negotiation
- Strong knowledge of Transportation Logistics and understanding of market trends
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and load boards
- Exceptional Communication and Client Relationship Management skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize shipments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Experience in the transportation or logistics industry will be considered a strong asset
