Are you a strong storyteller? SHL is hiring for a Demo Engineer. This candidate will be specialized member of the Solution Engineer function, responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of SHL’s global demo assets and collaterals. This role bridges the gap between product capability and sales storytelling by creating scalable, high-impact environments that allow the commercial team to showcase "the art of the possible."

While grounded in technical configuration, the Demo Engineer is a master of persona-based narratives. You will ensure that every demo environment is technically robust, data-rich, and aligned with industry-specific challenges, enabling the broader Solution Architecture and Sales teams to deliver consistent, compelling solution/product experiences.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Build and maintain a library of reusable, "always-ready" demo environments that reflect the latest SHL solution/product releases.
  • Manage demo data: Ensure environments are populated with realistic, diverse, and compliant datasets (candidates, analytics) that resonate with enterprise buyers.
  • Develop persona & industry narratives: Create tailored "scripts" and environment configurations for specific sectors (e.g., BFSI, Retail, Tech) and roles (e.g., CHRO, Talent Acquisition, Hiring Manager).
  • Technical Asset Management: Create and maintain "click-through" demos or video vignettes for use in early-stage discovery or RFPs.

Innovation & Product Alignment

  • Roadmap Integration: Work closely with Product and Engineering to preview upcoming features and integrate them into the demo environment ahead of launch.
  • Feedback Loop: Capture field requirements for demo-ability and advocate for "sales-friendly" product enhancements.
  • Competitive Edge: Research competitor demo strategies and ensure SHL’s environments remain the benchmark for Talent Tech excellence.

Solution Engineering Excellence

  • Full-Lifecycle Support: Drive technical discovery and solution design for key accounts, ensuring deep alignment between client requirements and SHL’s platform capabilities.
  • Integrated Technical Scoping: Navigate complex security and technical hurdles alongside the broader SE team to accelerate deal closure and maintain high operational agility.

What we are looking for from you:

  • Experience in Presales, Sales Operations, or Product Marketing within a SaaS environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude: Comfortable with SaaS configurations and data manipulation.
  • Storytelling Mindset: Ability to see beyond the "feature" to the "benefit," creating narratives that solve specific business problems.
  • Familiarity with the HR Tech ecosystem (ATS, HCM) is a significant advantage.
