What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Content Creator position at Shivers Buildings?
About the Role
Shivers Buildings is looking for a self-motivated Social Media Content Creator to film and edit short-form video content for our various social media pages. While the primary responsibility of this role will be content creation, you will also be cross trained on our various other marketing processes and software. This includes Meta Ads, WordPress, and our CRM system.
Success in this role requires a self-motivated person who shows initiative with given and recurring assignments and projects. You should be able to work well independently as well as part of a team and be willing to learn new skills. Experience with WordPress, Meta Business Suite, and Meta Ads is a plus, but is not required.

What You’ll Do
· Travel between our lots to film content showcasing our products and our team
· Edit footage into short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
· Schedule organic content across our social media platforms (training provided)
· Film and edit videos for Meta Ads
· Assist with Meta Ads, website updates, and various graphic design tasks (training provided)
· Collaborate with the team on content ideas and priorities
What We’re Looking For
· Experience filming on a DSLR camera or smart phone and being comfortable operating basic audio equipment
· Experience editing video and audio (Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar software)
· Willingness to travel to some of our lots regularly (Yazoo City, Vicksburg, Byram, and Florence)
· Being a team player, a self-starter, a strong communicator, and having a willingness to learn is a requirement
Other Details
· Experience with WordPress, graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Canva or similar software), and Meta Ads is a bonus, but not required
· Must be punctual
