What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Operations Manager position at Shiver Management Group?
Seeking a Property Operations Manager who has experience with multi-family, affordable housing. The successful candidate will have experience: (1) supervising management staff; (2) directly supervising or managing large real estate development projects, commercial buildings, or multi-family housing; (3) soliciting of vendors and contract management; and, (4) familiarity with the rules and regulations of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The successful candidate should be able to write clean, error-free correspondence. This is a senior management track job with room for growth for the right candidate.
What We’re Looking for
- A MBA with coursework in Real Estate, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management or Construction, preferred.
- 3 years of experience (May consider 5 years of experience in combination with a BA or BS)
- A track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ownership groups and vendors
- Familiar with REAC/NSPIRE property inspections and regulatory compliance
- Supervising Real Estate Development or Managing Commercial Property
- Vendor Contract monitoring and tracking
- Proficiency with property management/inventory software and Microsoft Office
- Self-Starter
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- A professional appearance
