- Prepare itemized cost estimates of products or bid requests
- Interact with the sales team, contractors, engineers, and purchasing to determine the best products to be used on the assigned projects
- Interact with manufacture representatives to obtain the best possible cost information
- Work in collaboration with, and provide support and guidance to co-workers with the mutual goal of meeting or exceeding goals and objectives
- Manage the quote process to ensure that all supporting documentation is received and submitted within the specified guidelines
- Build rapport with customers and work to ensure they receive excellent service
- Use computer databases to retrieve necessary customer and inventory information
- Provide pricing, delivery, and other order information to customers
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Report and document Non-Conformances, Corrective Actions, and Continuous Improvements
- Maintain safety and good housekeeping standards for the site
- Make decisions within the limits of general standards or procedures
- Report near misses and incidents and cooperate with investigations

- Perform other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of product lines and pricing preferred
- Ability to work with little to no supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skill and attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills
- Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word or equivalent applications
- Ability to multitask
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience in customer service or order processing preferred
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
