As an intern, you will be paired with a mid-to-senior level employee who will serve as your mentor. This mentor/mentee relationship is designed to foster a supportive environment where you can candidly discuss your career goals and aspirations. Our one-on-one informal mentoring approach fosters the development of professional relationships that complement your academic learning, enriching your overall internship experience.
As a Civil / Environmental Engineer intern you will work on a variety of project related to wet infrastructure, including water, wastewater, and stormwater. You will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with other in-house architecture and engineering disciplines and from these real-world interactions, you will develop the skills to communicate and collaborate with peers and clients while building your professional network. These experiences will provide insights into the profession, collaborative teamwork, and serving the needs of our clients.
Requirements
- Student in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited engineering school.
- Able to collaborate with other team members and have good interpersonal skills.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Curiosity and motivation to learn through both mentorship and self-study.
