Duties

• Safely operate vans designed for non-emergency medical transport, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous customer service and ensuring their comfort throughout the trip.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
• Communicate clearly with dispatchers, healthcare facilities, and passengers to coordinate pick-up and drop-off schedules efficiently.
• Handle heavy lifting when necessary to assist passengers with mobility devices or luggage, maintaining a respectful and supportive attitude.
• Respond promptly to any in-route issues or emergencies by following established safety procedures and contacting emergency services if needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers, healthcare providers, and team members.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
