Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in group homes. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others and the ability to perform a variety of tasks that enhance the quality of life for our clients. This role requires patience, empathy, and a commitment to maintaining the dignity and respect of those in our care.
Shifts Needed:
1- NOC Shift (10pm to 7am) - Must be able to work Weekday and Weekends
2- Night Shift (2pm to 10pm) -Must be able to work Weekday and Weekends
Duties:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide personal care services including medication administration and vital sign monitoring.
- Support clients with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs.
- Engage in patient observation to monitor changes in health status and report any concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
- Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals to ensure personalized care for each client.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall well-being of clients.
- Facilitate social interactions and activities that promote engagement and mental stimulation.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive patient information.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing, home health, or hospice care is preferred.
- Help administer Medication
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or Alzheimer’s care is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for client mobility assistance.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and vital signs assessment is beneficial.
- A compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
