Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being at all times.
• Manage classroom activities with effective behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate with families to discuss each infant’s progress, needs, and developmental goals through regular communication and updates.
• Maintain detailed documentation of each child's developmental progress, health records, and daily activities in compliance with licensing standards.
• Create a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and independence while adhering to best practices in toddler care and early intervention strategies.
• Lead classroom management efforts by organizing engaging lesson plans, managing resources efficiently, and fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers.
• Experience in curriculum development tailored to early childhood education standards and Montessori methods preferred.
• Proven ability to work effectively with children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention techniques to support diverse learners.
• Expertise in classroom management, behavior management strategies, and lesson planning for young children.
• Background in childcare or daycare settings with preschool or private school experience highly valued.
• Ability to implement literacy education activities that promote language acquisition and cognitive growth.
