Shipyard Golf Club is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Part-Time Ranger/Starter to assist in creating an exceptional golf experience for our members and guests. This individual will help manage pace of play, ensure smooth tee time operations, and provide outstanding service while maintaining the standards and hospitality of the club.

Compensation
- $7.25 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Greet golfers and provide a welcoming first impression upon arrival at the first tee
- Coordinate and manage tee time flow to ensure groups start on schedule
- Monitor pace of play throughout the golf course and encourage proper pace when needed
- Communicate professionally and courteously with players regarding course policies and expectations
- Assist guests with general questions regarding course layout, rules, and club amenities
- Report course issues, safety concerns, or player incidents to golf shop staff/management
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization around the starter area and practice facilities
- Support golf operations staff with additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous golf course, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of the game of golf and golf etiquette strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly, outgoing, and service-oriented demeanor
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be dependable and punctual
Schedule / Availability
- Part-time schedule based on business needs, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Pay: $7.25 per hour
