What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tasting Room Cook position at Shipyard Brewing Company?

Shipyard Brewing Company is a family-owned brewery based in Portland for over 25 years.
Our Tasting Room offers 20 rotating beers on tap including our classic, seasonal, and discovery series. Located in the Old Port, we offer delicious pizza, pretzels, salads and sandwiches while our guests can sip a flight and shop in our store with a wide selection of Shipyard merchandise. We are open year-round and available for private events and functions

- Prepare recipes to order for timing, quality, and consistency.
- Maintain a clean, safe, stocked, and organized workstation according to company standards, health department regulations and manufacturer specifications.
- Perform shared kitchen team tasks including but not limited to: cleaning and organizing, opening and closing the kitchen, receiving orders, etc.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
- Stock and use all cleaning supplies as intended.
- Complete other duties as assigned in support of the business.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
- Can meet physical demands of position including pulling, pushing, carrying, lifting, standing for extended periods of time.
