Over the years, the company has expanded its specialized services through additional sister brands, including Ship Skis and Ship Camps.  Our next big brand offering is Ship&Play, where our goal is to make effortless travel a reality.

We’re looking for a Product Designer who cares deeply about the craft of product experience and the impact it can make to millions of people. Someone who sees design as not just visuals, but as a driver of trust, product impact and business growth. 

This role is for a builder, a systems thinker and self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can shape it into elegant, intuitive solutions. You’ll shape experiences across our family of brands while establishing a product / UX design practice that will help us build a customer-first and product centric culture in the company.

• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that reflect each brand’s identity while contributing to a cohesive ecosystem.
• Design responsive, accessible experiences across web, mobile (web and native app), and transactional email.
• Elevate key touchpoints (order confirmations, password resets, etc.) into moments that build clarity and trust.
• Balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility in every solution.

• Use AI tools to accelerate user experience research, ideation, prototyping and usability testing.
• Stay current on emerging AI capabilities in UX and identify practical ways to apply them.
• Explore how AI can enhance the design process and the end-user experience and establish best-practices across the company. 

• Partner with Product to translate insights and strategy into thoughtful design solutions.
• Work closely with Engineering to ensure scalable, high-quality implementation.
• Collaborate with Marketing on landing pages and communication touchpoints.
• Advocate for users and elevate design thinking across the whole company. 

• Design and support A/B tests (e.g., Optimizely) to validate ideas and improve outcomes.
• Use data, user feedback, and AI-assisted analysis to iterate quickly and intelligently.
• Conceive, plan and execute user experience and usability research on platforms such as Usertesting.com, including moderated and unmoderated tests, focus groups and user surveys

• Own and organize our Figma workspace for clarity and scalability.
• Contribute to and evolve design systems, patterns, and documentation.
• Create structure and process where needed to help the team move faster and better.

• You excel in dynamic environments where not everything is defined.
• You bring initiative, independence, and strong ownership.
• You create clarity, define problems, and move work forward without waiting for perfect direction.

• You’re comfortable and adept at using AI in design, research, and workflow optimization.
• You experiment thoughtfully and understand both the potential and limitations of AI in product experiences by applying best practices and sound judgment to refine and enhance AI-powered outputs. 

• 6 years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Figma. 
• Experience with user testing platforms such as Usertesting.com 
• Deep understanding of user-centered design, usability, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Experience designing web and transactional email experiences.
• Strong communicator who can clearly articulate design rationale.

• Working knowledge of front-end development, including HTML/CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with Optimizely or similar experimentation tools.
• Startup or growth-stage company experience.
