Warehouse Associate I

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor

Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate I is an entry-level warehouse position responsible for accurately receiving, processing, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This role works under close supervision and is expected to follow established procedures while learning warehouse operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming shipments.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to company standards.
• Label, palletize, and stage products for shipping.
• Perform quality checks to ensure order accuracy.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by properly scanning and documenting product movement.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory activities as assigned.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies or damaged product to a supervisor.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Basic computer and scanner experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and climb as needed.
• Work in varying warehouse temperatures.
