Director of Recruiting & Human Resources
Position Description: Ships-a-Lot is a rapidly growing, third-party fulfillment company for e-commerce brands based in Memphis, TN. We are seeking to hire a Director of Recruiting & Human Resources for two facilities (located close to the Memphis International Airport).
Responsibilities include:
- working closely with two Directors of Fulfillment to ensure proper staffing (both full-time and temporary agencies) at locations
- recruiting new, full-time team members
- coordinating with several temporary agencies
- employee training
- basic employee HR services (i.e. policies, enforcement of policies, answer questions, utilize HR software, etc.)
- report directly to Company Owner
Ideal attributes:
- high emotional intelligence and people skills
- creative mind when recruiting and trying to attract talent
- basic knowledge of all aspects of Human Resources (at least one-year in a similar role)
Compensation
- Base salary, paid weekly
- Bonus based on performance, paid monthly

Vacation:
- 2 weeks per year, accrues weekly (1.52 hours per week). Black out dates: 11/1 through 12/24 each year and scheduled dates of large product “drops.”
