What are the responsibilities and job description for the FACE Adult Education Coach - Atsa Biyaazh Community School position at Shiprock Associated Schools, Inc.?
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Education (Adult Education preferred), or related field.
Valid New Mexico Teaching License in Secondary, Alternative Education, or Adult Education, with endorsements as applicable.
Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) endorsement preferred.
Two years experience as an Adult Educator, Parent Educator, Liaison, or related field preferred.
Two years experience working with FACE (Family And Child Education) preferred.
Must have or obtain -
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification for infant/child/adult
- Navajo Nation Food Handler's permit
Bilingual in Dine & English preferred.
Must be able to meet minimum physical requirements: sitting, standing, lifting, carrying (up to 50 lbs), reaching, squatting, kneeling, and moving light furniture may be required.
Must have valid state-issued driver's license.
**MUST be able to pass background checks for New Mexico state, Navajo Nation, and FBI prior to employment.
