Senior Full Stack Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop robust, scalable applications to enhance our core shipping platform.
• Lead the full software development lifecycle, from conception and design to testing and deployment, focusing on performance and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to design and implement new features, enriching functionality and user experience.
• Provide technical leadership in resolving operational challenges, working hand in hand with our support teams.
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
• Utilize your expertise in software architecture to drive decisions and innovations that optimize the platform's structure and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of commercial full-stack software development experience
• Demonstrated expertise in software architecture, designing scalable systems, and optimizing performance.
• Proficiency in engineering best practices, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and producing clean, testable code.
• Experience in high-traffic, SaaS, or e-commerce platforms is highly valued.
• Experience with backend technologies like Java, Node.js or Rails is highly advantageous
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent communication abilities.
• A proactive approach to challenges, coupled with the ability to propose innovative and pragmatic solutions.

Bonus Points for Experience in:

• Startup or small company environments
• Node.js, React, GraphQL, AWS, high-traffic environments or high-throughput data analytics systems
