Shippenville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dedicated in-house rehabilitation team. Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve residents' independence and quality of life.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, upper extremity function, and adaptive techniques.
Accurately document treatments, progress, and outcomes using Net Health EMR.
Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional resident care.
Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
Qualifications
Current Pennsylvania Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred, but not required.
New graduates are encouraged to apply.
