Are you a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant looking to join a close-knit team while making a difference in your local community? Gettysburg Physical Therapy is a small, privately owned outpatient practice that values personalized care—for both our patients and our staff.
At Gettysburg Physical Therapy, we focus on a team approach treatment style that is heavily centralized around manual interventions and therapeutic exercise. Our patient population is diverse, ranging from total joint replacements to competitive high school and collegiate athletes.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to implement programs and activities consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient.
- Instruct patients, family members and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the physical therapy treatment program under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
- Maintain appropriate and timely documentation for all patients treated.
- Ensure that patients and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights.
- Implement a patient’s individualized treatment plan as established by the primary Physical Therapist.
- Provide individualized physical therapy treatments including but not limited to: Therapeutic exercise, balance coordination, agility training, body mechanics and postural stabilization, gait and locomotion training, neuromotor development training and strength/endurance training, manual therapy and electrotherapeutic, physical agent and mechanical modalities.
Short-distance travel between our nearby locations may be required sporadically.
