Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service
- Assist in making sure fresh items are kept in stock and discard old items
- Ensure the restaurant is clean by sweeping, mopping, cleaning corner tops, emptying trash containers, wiping down counters, and other related activities
- Inform management of operational issues
- Adhere to all company and industry safety and sanitary standards
- Other duties as reasonably assigned by the team lead and/or general manager of Shipley Donuts
- Obtain a valid Food Manager's Certification
Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
High school diploma. Experience in the restaurant or food industry preferred.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, write, and apply written and verbal instructions in English. Ability to effectively communicate and present information and respond to questions from customers, other employees, and vendors in English.
Reasoning Ability:
Basic reasoning required. Ability to hear or read client orders or concerns and process them. Ability to receive a variety of instructions in oral, written or diagram form.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands; reach with hands or arms, talk and or hear for five or more hours. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color recognition, and ability to adjust focus.

The work environment is fast paced and has a moderate to loud noise level
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.50 - $12.00 per hour
