What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carrier Sales Representative position at Ship OGRE?
We’re looking for motivated, detail-oriented, goal-driven Carrier Sales Reps with strong communication skills to join our teams in both our Dallas and North Richland Hills, TX offices. All positions are fully onsite.

Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of assigned freight, from tender through delivery.
- Source, negotiate rates, book, and coordinate carriers to cover customer freight.
- Track shipments and proactively address delays, service issues, or exceptions.
- Communicate with customers and carriers regarding load status and requirements.
- Ensure accurate load details, documentation, and system updates.
- Support account performance by maintaining service levels and operational consistency.
- Negotiate rates with shippers and carriers to maximize profitability.
- Assist team with overflow freight coverage.
- Support onboarding of new customers and carriers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2 years of freight brokerage experience in customer or carrier sales, account management or similar role.
- Strong understanding of load execution, carrier sourcing, and shipment tracking.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
