Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Import & Logistics Coordinator with 5-10 years of experience to manage international shipping, customs clearance, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in global logistics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple departments and partners.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
· 5 to 10 years of experience in import/export logistics, including customs clearance and freight forwarding.
· Proven experience with international shipping regulations, tariffs, and customs procedures.
· Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle), TMS, and WMS software.
· Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional language skills are a plus.
· Familiarity with global trade laws and compliance requirements.
· US residency or legal authorization to work in the US.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Experience working with international suppliers, carriers, and customs authorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Certification in trade or logistics (e.g., Customs Broker License, US Customs Certification).
· Prior experience in a multinational corporation or import/export firm.
· Knowledge of Incoterms and contract negotiations.
Not necessary but someone who speaks Korean would be preferable.
