Kitchen Helper

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in daily kitchen operations. This role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation and ensuring adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have some food service experience and a strong commitment to cleanliness, safety, and teamwork.

Duties

• Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to assist in food preparation and cooking processes.
• Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality of dishes.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and maintain workflow.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing using proper cutting methods.
• Support food safety management practices by maintaining cleanliness and proper storage of ingredients.
• Contribute to food service by helping with plating, presentation, or other related tasks as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning routines.
• Follow safety standards during all production activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques, including slicing and cutting methods.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and adhere to safety standards during food production.
