- Develop and implement logistical strategies to ensure efficient transportation of fish from the port to distributors, retailers, and restaurants
- Coordinate with logistics partners to limit errors and increase speed of getting product to customers
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of products
- Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, and Marketing teams with clear, concise communication regarding orders and project timelines
- Work closely with processing vendors to ensure customers get exactly what they ordered
- Identify and mitigate the risks in our supply chain to improve daily operations
- Manage workflows and projects from start to finish, informing key stakeholders in a timely manner
- Identify inefficiencies in workflows and develop solutions to increase efficiency
- Manage vendor relationships like processing, logistics, and packaging partners
- Evaluate them on a regular basis to identify areas of improvement
- Support cost optimization initiatives while keeping quality top of mind
- Maintain and optimize internal databases and ERP systems to keep accurate inventory and costing
- Work closely with engineering team to lead development of new tools and technologies that improve business processes, including things like dashboards and reports
- 2 years experience in operating roles
- Strong food industry knowledge
- Must be comfortable making quick decisions with high levels of ambiguity
