Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician
Responsibilities:
- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior during therapy sessions
- Assist with the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistent and effective therapy delivery
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions
- Communicate regularly with parents or caregivers regarding client progress and treatment goals
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
- Experience working with children
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements
